Brief History...
Thomas Spurger was the lead engineer for building and servicing OMS, Optical Measuring Systems and PSI, Produce Sorters International, AG Vision systems, from 1988 to the end of 2010, . OMS was the leader in AG Vision technology worldwide throughout that time. OMS created many new camera systems, electronics and software for computing Size, Color, Defect and Maturity detection of fruit and vegetables.
At the end of 2010 OMS /PSI stopped production after a long illness of one of the partners. This left over 300 OMS/PSI camera systems worldwide without service or upgrades. To meet that need, Thomas Spurger began TCI. AG Vision Systems.
Thomas Spurger wanted to offer the best cost effective fruit and vegetable AG Vision System using off the shelf parts. This would insure the parts should be available for decades and readily available anywhere in the world. And, with Software genius, Andres Hurtis, this AG Vision System is now available to both large and small growers.
Camera Systems
TCI. Continues to provide service for all existing OMS/PSI camera systems. Many of these camera systems are now 15 years old or older. All of the camera parts were proprietary, because at the time, there were no off the shelf parts to build these systems. Most of these parts are no longer made or available. To service the OMS/PSI systems requires using used parts from camera systems that have been upgraded to a new TCI. AG Vision Systems.

TCI. - 29 years experience in AG Vision Systems and counting. TCI. - New AG Vision System for, Size, Color and Defect fruit and vegetable sorting. TCI. - New Carrier that is able to rotate all fruit and vegetables. This system enables the camera system to view all sides of fruit and vegetables. TCI. - New Pre Grader System for Bruise, Maturity, Sunburn and Defect sorting. This is a stand alone system, that can also be added to any manufacturers camera systems. TCI. - Provides AG Vision Systems to retrofit all existing OMS/PSI camera systems. TCI. - Provides Sales and service for all TCI. and OMS/PSI camera systems.
